Exactly What Syncs With WooCommerce
- Products and Variations (Into Invechar): Every product and variation with all of its attributes, linked to products you already have by SKU.
- Orders (Into Invechar): New and changed orders every 30 minutes, allocated from the master pool as they come in.
- Stock (Out to the Channel): Your sellable number from the master pool, pushed for the whole store from its store page or per product.
- Prices (Out to the Channel): Price changes you approve.
- Listings (Out to the Channel): Create and update WooCommerce products from Invechar's catalog, with attributes and variations.
How You Connect WooCommerce
- Open WooCommerce Settings: In your WordPress admin open WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API. If Permalinks is set to Plain, change it to Post name first.
- Create a Read and Write Key: Add a key named Invechar for an administrator or shop manager, set Permissions to Read/Write and generate it. WooCommerce shows the secret only once.
- Paste and Test: Paste your store address and both keys into the Connect wizard and test. The keys are encrypted before they are saved, and the first import starts.
- No approval from WooCommerce or anyone else is needed: you make the key in your own store, and you can revoke it there at any time. You can connect more than one WooCommerce store.
What Your Brain Does on WooCommerce
- One Pool Behind Your Store: Your store is sent the same sellable number as your marketplaces, with Amazon FBA units never counted.
- Restock from Real Demand: Orders from your store feed the forecast, the reorder proposals and the supplier lead times your Brain learns.
- Listing Health: Store products checked for brand, photos, descriptions and barcodes, with values filled from your other channels.
Good to Know
- Tracking is not sent back to WooCommerce yet. When you ship from Invechar, mark the order as shipped in your WooCommerce admin.
- If the connection test says the key is missing although you pasted it, your web host is dropping the sign in header. Ask your host to pass the Authorization header to WordPress.
Questions
- Do I need a plugin to connect WooCommerce?
- No. Invechar uses WooCommerce's built in REST API with a key you create under WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API.
- How quickly do WooCommerce orders reach Invechar?
- Every 30 minutes, with a two hour overlap so late edits are never missed.
- Can I connect several WooCommerce stores?
- Yes. Each store is connected on its own, and two shops of one WordPress install in different folders stay two stores.
- Is my key safe?
- It is encrypted at rest and used only to talk to your store. Delete the key in WooCommerce and the connection stops at once.
