Exactly What Syncs With Shopify
- Products and Variants (Into Invechar): Every product, variant, barcode and attribute, at connect and then on a schedule.
- Orders (Into Invechar): Your full order history at connect, then new orders as they arrive.
- Cost per Item (Into Invechar): Used for profit only where no purchase order cost exists yet. Vendors become suppliers.
- Available Stock (Out to the Channel): Your sellable number for your primary Shopify location, as stock changes and in a safe sweep every 3 hours.
- Prices and Listings (Out to the Channel): Approved price changes, and listings you publish or update from Invechar.
- Fulfillment and Tracking (Out to the Channel): When you ship, Shopify gets the shipment with carrier and tracking.
How You Connect Shopify
- Enter Your Store Handle: In Integrations press Connect on Shopify and enter your handle: the part after admin.shopify.com/store/, or the name before .myshopify.com.
- Approve Invechar in Shopify: Shopify asks you to approve the app. Invechar never sees your password.
- The First Sync Runs: Products, full order history, costs, barcodes and vendors import. When it finishes, your Brain shows its first three wins.
- Review, Then Push Stock: The first stock push to Shopify shows a preview of every difference. It stays blocked while the first import has open drifts, so nothing is overwritten by surprise.
- One Shopify store connects per workspace today. Units at Amazon FBA never count toward Shopify stock.
What Your Brain Does on Shopify
- Drift Checks Every 3 Hours: Shopify stock is compared with your pool. A mismatch becomes a reviewable fix, never a silent overwrite, and pushes pause for that product until you decide.
- Restock Before You Run Out: Your Brain forecasts from your own order history and proposes purchase orders with order-by dates per supplier.
- Costs It Finds Missing: Products with no cost become a task, so profit and reorder math never rest on a zero.
- Sell the Same Catalog Elsewhere: Publish your Shopify products to eBay, Amazon or Etsy, or list them on Google with a live feed, all from the same stock pool.
Good to Know
- Another app that also changes Shopify stock will fight with Invechar. Turn it off before you start pushing stock, then reconcile any drift on the Stock ledger.
Questions
- Does Invechar replace Shopify?
- No. Shopify stays your storefront and checkout. Invechar becomes the system that owns stock, costs and purchasing across Shopify and your other channels.
- Which Shopify location does Invechar update?
- Your primary Shopify location. Stock in your other locations is tracked in Invechar per warehouse.
- Will connecting change my Shopify stock straight away?
- No. Connecting only reads. The first push shows every difference first and stays blocked while the first import has drifts open for review.
- Can I connect two Shopify stores?
- One store per workspace for now. To switch stores, disconnect the current one first.
- Where do product costs come from?
- Purchase orders you receive in Invechar, with freight, duty and fees included. Shopify's cost per item is used only where no purchase order cost exists yet.
